Family Pack Walk
Join us this Sept. 29, a Sunday for a Blessing of the Animals and Family Pack Walk.
Last year’s event, Sept. 28, 2012, was a beautiful day for the 45 dogs and hundreds of animal lovers who gathered for a Blessing of the Dogs and Family Pack Walk in affiliation with Cesar Millan, Scooby-Doo and North Shore Animal League. More than $1,500 was raised to support awareness projects and planning efforts for the state-of- the-art pet adoption and education center that will one day rehabilitate and re-home abused and abandoned cats and dogs in the Lake Norman and surrounding areas of North Carolina. Cesar Millan was present in Spirit as Dr. Joyce Carnevale spoke to the group about walking together in the same direction to promote the adoption of homeless animals and the importance of spay /neuter.
We appreciate our sponsors: Mooresville Parks & Recreation, Lake Norman Chrysler * Dodge * Jeep * Ram, and the Greg Biffle Foundation for helping make this a successful first-time event.
Rescues were on hand with adoptable dogs:

Again thanks to all those who helped us get the word out for this special opportunity to be part of a National Movement that brings us together, walking in the same direction, helping each other and the future of our furry friends.
