5K, 10K Race and Dog Walk with Community Vendor Fair was April 13, 2013
Thanks to everyone who participated in Pawz Too Run, the 5K, 10K Race and Dog Walk with Community Vendor Fair for the Future of our Furry Friends. 
And the winners are …
Pawz Too Run winners include the dogs and cats that will be given a second chance to find a loving home once the new center is built. Proceeds from this year’s event — more than $8,000 – will be placed into the building fund that is allocated for the pet education and adoption center. It takes time to raise the sort of money needed for a state-of -the-art facility, and it takes the community to support Friends of the Animals and events like Pawz Too Run. So thanks again to the 160 runners and dog walkers, and to the vendors and sponsors who made this event a success!
The event, sponsored by Lake Norman Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram; Whitlock lnfrastructure Solutions; and Parks Chevrolet and created in 2011 by 10th grade student Joanna Copio, included:
