Guardian Angel Program for Surviving Pet Care

Have you ever wondered who will care for your pet when you are gone? Or have you been considering not adopting another pet for fear he might outlive you?

The Guardian Angel Program ensures that your pet will be cared for and found a new home should you no longer be able to care for her, or should she survive you.  Simply contact our office for an enrollment form.  If you are no longer able to care for your pet, or should he outlive you, Friends of the Animals will finalize arrangements with your representative or family member to have your pet transported to our facility (transportation costs are your separate responsibility).

Once our facility is open, we will provide food, shelter, medical care and a loving hand until your pet can be adopted into a new, forever home.

You can fund your pet’s care at the time of enrollment for a total cost of $10,000 for the first pet and $5,000 for each additional pet.

Or you can fund your pet’s care on a deferred basis through a bequest in your will or trust, by enrolling in the program and making Friends of the Animals, Inc. a beneficiary of your will, trust, life insurance policy, retirement plan or other gift planning instrument. The cost for a deferred gift is $15,000 for the first pet and $7,500 for each additional pet.

The Guardian Angel Program ensures your pet will be provided the love and care it needs for the remainder of his/her natural life.
